CBSE to conduct compartment & optional exams in September. Students unhappy with the decision

As per recent updates from the CBSE Board, it has decided to conduct the compartment exams and also the optional exams of students who appeared for class 10 & 12 board exams this year. The optional exams are for those papers which were postponed & later cancelled because of the coronavirus. Only those students can appear for the optional papers who have opted for “Improvement of Performance” earlier.

Students can fill the application form for the compartment exams at CBSE’s official website: cbse.nic.in. These exams are usually held for students who have failed in one or two subjects.

However, many students & parents were not happy with this move and expressed their concern on social media.

“When Karnataka conducted its exams, several students were tested positive. Does the CBSE also want its students to get infected?” asked by one of the students.
