CBSE Board Exam 2020: How to use CBSE’S Exam Centre Locator Android app

As the CBSE Board exams 2020 are just around the corner, exam pressure among students is bound to increase. But one of the main concerns of students is to locate their exam centre.

To allay this issue, CBSE has launched exam centre locator, an android application on March 9, 2017, for students appearing in CBSE class 10th and 12th board exams.

The Exam centre locator App is called the CBSE ECL. It helps to quickly locate the Board exam centre.

Through this android application students can find the address, images and geolocation of the given exam centres on Google map and know how to reach the destination.

Steps to follow to use the app:

Step 1: Register in the application available on the Goggle play store through mobile number.

Step 2: It will then generate an OTP (One Time Password). The OTP will help to log on to the Centre locator App.

Step 3: The parent or student can then access information by selecting the need class 10th or 12th.

Step 4: Then they will have to enter their Roll Number.

Step 5: The mobile application will then display student’s information, address and photograph of the exam centre on the screen.

Step 6: After this student can also get the route map from their location to the exam centre and it also shows the duration required to reach the destination.
