Earlier in June, Delhi Government had announced that it would pay the board exam registration fee of both class X and XII students studying in government and aided schools to the Central Board of Secondary Education.

The registration has begun and students have been asked to pay a fee that is 40% higher for class XII and over 30% for class X. The government has now begun to arrange for funds and the students who have already paid their fees. They will soon receive reimbursement.

Until last year the registration fee for class XII was 10150 which got increased to 1500. For class X, the registration fee has increased from 450 to 1500.

Students are asked to pay their fee by August 15 after which a late fee of Rs 2000 will be charged.
