In a recent circular released by the Central Board of Senior Education, the board has suggested few amendments to be made in the current examination pattern. The circular signed by the controller of examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj, states that CBSE is likely to conduct its practical exams at its theory examination centre. With effect from 2020, both theory and practical exams for classes 10th and 12th will be conducted at one place.
This change was suggested due to several schools being unequipped with desired equipments needed to conduct practical examinations. Besides this, the board has also been planning to initiate changes in the marking scheme of practical examinations.
Another change suggested by the board is that students from now onwards will be expected to complete their projects in the school itself to assure they are not being completed by professionals.
