There will be an inclusion of practicals and the evaluation of the humanities subjects will be done on the lines of science and economics in the board exams of Class 12, from the year 2020. Currently the CBSE board is planning how to put in these changes in the present curriculum of the humanities subjects.
The CBSE fraternity is also looking forward to mould the questions asked for the theory based subjects from the subjective to the objective questions in the respective board exams.
As per the verdict of the senior official, there are chances in the increment of the allotment of marks to the practical’s in these subjects which is already present in the prevailing examination structure.
Highlights of the Exam Reports:-
1. Practicals or projects will be added to the examination of the language subjects.
2. School teachers will be involved concerning the practical marks.
3. There will be more objective type questions.
This reformed scheme will be introduced for the academic session 2019-20 and also in the board examination 2020.There will be active participation of teachers for allotting marks in the practicals. Presently, the practical exams are conducted in the respective school but the marks are allotted by external examiner from the CBSE board but from the following year the teachers will enjoy the right of marking in the practical examinations.
