In an entirely computer-based test, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, will conduct the GATE exam on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2022. The registration process for the same had begun on September 2 and will end on Friday, September 24.
The students who still want to register for GATE 2022 can visit the official website- gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
This year, two new papers have been added to the GATE exam. These papers are named as- Geomatics Engineering (GE) and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NM). These papers contain a general aptitude section of 15 marks as applicable for all GATE papers.
A student studying in third or higher years at present of any undergraduate degree program or has already finished any government-approved degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts is eligible for this exam. The exam is center-based. The exam includes multiple-choice questions, multiple select question types, numerical answer type questions. Candidates will also get a virtual on-screen calculator to use in the exam.
There is no age bar to appear for this exam. The result of this exam is valid for three years from the date of the announcement of the exams.
