After CBSE and several state boards, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has cancelled the 2021 board examination of ICSE Class 10th. The council has withdrawn a circular published on 16th April which made this exam optional. All ICSE schools have been directed to begin the class 11 admission process and start preparations for online classes. Results for the 10th grade will be announced using a fair and unbiased criterion. To ensure the safety of students and their parents amid rising Covid-19 cases, most exams have been either cancelled or postponed this year. Students and parents had been appealing for these steps on social media for quite some time.
