Amid the rising coronavirus cases across the country, the Council for the Indian School Certification Examinations on Friday announced to postpone the Board Exams for classes 10 & 12. Earlier the Board Exams were scheduled to be held from May 4.
The new dates will be announced after reviewing the situation of the virus in the country and the final decision will be taken by the first week of June, 2021.
As per the reports, while the board exams for class 12 will be conducted on the deferred dates, class 10 students will be given an option to take the exams with ISC class 12 or be evaluated on internal assessments.
The decision comes after CBSE and many other state boards postponed the board exams amid the rising spread of the novel coronavirus.
