CBSE Releases Syllabus for 2021-22: Classes 9 to 12

For most of the last year, students as well as teachers were confused about the syllabus and exam format. Due to the lockdowns induced by the COVID-19 pandemic, syllabuses had to be cut down for many classes. Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) introduced the curriculums for classes 9th to 12th for the year 2021-22. These are created considering that students and teachers won’t face the exceptional challenges of last year. With the new National Education Policy (NEP) under implementation, competency-based questions have found a greater importance in the curriculums. To make the curriculum most effective, school heads are advised to discuss the important topics with subject teachers before creating an annual pedagogical plan. The CBSE has also given energised resources to teachers which will help define learning objectives and outcomes. The session for 2021-22 begins this month.
