Q.1: What are class 12 CBSE board exam tips and suggestions?

    • It is commended to have a proper schedule. Get up early and avoid studying till late. You have to keep your preparations in check but make sure you relax for an hour or 2 in between.

    • Make pragmatic targets daily and do not try to study everything in a day. Out of 5-6 subjects, pick up 2-3 subjects topic wise in a day.

    • Start with a light subject in the morning. Once you get in a little flow, take up something a little more important and heavy.

    • It is advised to solve CBSE sample papers of various subjects. The papers by CBSE are the closest you can get to the actual paper. You can also refer to CBSE Question Banks to know the exact pattern of questions that appear in the examination.

    • Make sure you exercise and meditate to improve your concentration.

Q.2: What are the best books for CBSE class 12 (PCM)?

For CBSE Class 12, the best book for Physics is HC Verma and SL Arora. Both these books are highly recommended to ace the board examinations. They contain vast varieties of questions in the form of CBSE Class 12 Sample Papers.

For Chemistry, we would suggest Pradeep along with the NCERT book. Both these books together would act as a positive catalyst to score excellent marks. Pradeep is extremely helpful as it consists of commonly asked questions in the CBSE Class 12 Board exams. As far as Mathematics is concerned, we would recommend RS Agarwal and RD Sharma for not just topic coverage but better examples, elaborate solutions, and useful sample papers.

Q.3: How do I study chemistry for the CBSE 12?

For the students of CBSE appearing in class 12 board examination, we would suggest you study Chemistry regularly for at least an hour. Take the help of reference books such as Pradeep and XAM Idea in order to understand and grasp the concepts better. Solve as many CBSE class 12 Question Banks and CBSE class 12 sample papers as possible. Attend your classes as well as laboratory sessions with due diligence and memorize the periodic table and equations with full sincerity. Take the help of your teachers without any hesitation.

Q.4: Do any CBSE students fail in the 12th?

CBSE does not fail the students easily. However, if the students take the CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations extremely lightly and do not study the entire academic year, they have high chances of not clearing the exams. CBSE does not deliberately fail the students and takes great care in passing the majority of them. In fact, this year CBSE has replaced the term ‘fail’ with ‘essential repeat’ as they do not want any student to feel unworthy and wish to inspire them to perform better the next time around. And, it is better to study for a short span of time every day than cramming up and tiring your mind in the end.

Q.5: It's only 1 month left for my 12th (PCM) CBSE board exams and I didn't study at all. How can I get 80%+? Any tips guy?

First of all, do not panic about the situation. Instead, let’s look for a way out of this. You have 1 month for your board exams and you will have to make the most of it. Now is not that time to study and learn each and everything. It is suggested that you should breakdown your syllabus to the most important and least important topics. After that, start with the most important topics. In one day, you should take up at least 2 subjects.

    • It is recommended not to create a time table. It won’t work for people who have started the preparation late. Make a routine and stick to it. Do the same thing at the same time every day.

    • Go for those chapters which are interesting and carry high weightage. As there is only one month to prepare, you guys only have to work on the half syllabus. Maths is excluded.

    • Do not search answers for situational questions on the internet. Instead, look for answers by trying to solve another similar question from the CBSE sample papers.

    • You can also refer to the last 15-20 years of CBSE question bank papers to get the idea of questions that are frequently asked. Take up NCERT and first learn the topics which have been repeated. 50% -60% questions in 12th CBSE board are from the previous year papers.

    • Dedicate your first 10-15 days working on physical and organic. You can start working on inorganic at the end as it involves a lot of memorizing.

    • For Maths, refer NCERT and 5-10 previous year CBSE class-12th question bank and CBSE sample papers.

    • Dedicate a little extra time to Physics as it includes a lot of numerical and derivations. Make sure you know the derivation of each formula. Do not forget to attempt at least 2 CBSE Sample papers.
