The Managements of Independent CBSE Schools Association is planning to move the court over the order of the government that all schools in the state should teach Kannada as either a first or a second language.

The President of the Association, Mr. M Srinivasan, said it would not be possible to make teaching of Kannada as first or second language mandatory. "We will first write to the government and hold discussions with them. We will approach the court, if we don’t get a remedy”.

It will be very tough to conduct the Board exams if Kannada is taught as first or second language. The Mr. M Srinivasan said that the Association would write to the secondary education board in this regard.
